The Tri-Cities Area consists of 3 cities, Richland, Kennewick, and Pasco. Located in southeast Washington, these cities surround where the Yakima, Snake, and Columbia rivers come together.

The combined population was 193,567 at the 2010 Census. As of April 1, 2016, the Washington State Office of Financial Management, Forecasting Division estimates the cities as having a combined population of 232,740.
